Our urban and wild adventures are a perpetual quest for sensory experiences.
With Paris6eme, created in 2014 and positioned on the good addresses of the 6th at first and Dela Rive Gauche in a second (restaurants, bars, shops,…) we had started our adventure of epicurean bloggers. Paris6ème us behind the scenes of the best Parisian restaurants as in the intimacy of pleasant boui-bouis of neighborhoods, gradually extended to France, to Europe then to our travels in the world, and with a move right bank (2nd in the borough), an evolution had become necessary!
It was then that the idea of Pointus was born, a new site allowing us to extend and expand our activities in Paris, France and the world, dedicated mainly to our passions for travel, gastronomy, the art of living, the environment which gravites around. We explore cities, regions and countries around the world by writing quality articles and guides that are searched for singular hotels, upscale restaurants or neighbourhood canteens, inspired coffeeshops or inspiring wild corners. We want to highlight addresses and itineraries “off the beaten path”, with a search for authenticity, originality and sophistication. From the trail to Bali, from St-Germain-des-près to Texas and from Bordeaux to Finland: there’s a taste for everyone! Our guideline: to offer quality content.
Sarah Msika
Founder / Editor-in-Chief
After 5 years of studies in history of art and law, then a master's degree in business, a passage at PwC as a consultant and then at EDF as a logistics and quality Manager for a subsidiary specializing in connected objects, I have always been very fine mouth and sensitive to gastronomy in its widest conception.
In 2017, I leave the world of the wage for the entrepreneurship… I created my company cultivate, named winner early 2018 of the largest roofing in Europe dedicated to urban agriculture: the ecosystem come to life in 2019, with a productive greenhouse, a restaurant, a space full land cultivated in agro-ecology, a coffeeshop of specialty coffee, and a Locavore grocery store. I am an instigator of pointy articles and photographs, and have the immense chance to meet incredible chefs, passionate hoteliers, committed startups and fascinating producers at the root of all successes.
I am also a writer for the Lebey Guide.
Taste profile
Enlightened consumer, my creed: eating is voting. I choose to allocate the major part of my budget in the ultra-reasoned or organic food, I cultivate my tomatoes from seeds traded on my balcony, I am a fervent supporter of selective sorting, I love to stroll in the grocery stores bulk to find products with ethical values…. I love to cook very much (even if I miss the time) but am above all in love with good products and easily satisfy me with an excellent Crimean tomato, with a simple filet of olive oil from Sicily and some leaves of purple Basil…
Sidney Delourme
Co-founder / contributor
After several years in strategy consulting, a very/too serious and taking (but exciting) trade, Sidney left the Council world to devote himself fully to the development of renewable energies in emerging countries and especially in Africa, with its country of adoption Benin.
Passionate about music, he tirelessly works his playlists and enriches his collection of vinyls between two journeys. On the move, Sidney is always on the front line to find the high-end eco-efficient hotel, artisanal farms, local producers… Since then, he has joined the cultivate adventure with Sarah, with the aim of valuing useful and unused spaces in arid and disadvantaged areas.
